Social Business is the Name of the Game Loaf Catering was involved in the first ever All Ireland Social Economy Trade Fair which was held in Belfast on 10 th June. The event hosted by Ulster Community Investment Trust in conjunction with Ardee Community Development Company and Tuath - Donegal Community and Local Development Centre was a resounding success and gave us the opportunity to promote the business whilst also making a few pounds!
Graduation Celebrations for North and West Students
67 adults with learning disabilities received their Graduation Certificates from at a
lavish ceremony held in the Millennium Community Outreach Centre featuring
gowns, awards and lovely sunshine.

Donna Sheehan and Noel Finn, win Gold and Bronze at the Northern Ireland Chef Ability
Awards 2008. The Awards In association with NI Union for Supported Employment
(NIUSE) are a first for Northern Ireland pitting the skills of Six trainee Chefs with learning
disabilities against each other in a one hour cook off at the International Food
Exhibition’s Chef Skill competition. It’s been a long road for Donna and Noel, who have
been training with The NOW project for some time, both had to compete in preliminary
heats last month to qualify for the competition
